Mobile Crane Hire

Franna Hire

Three Franna pick-and-carry cranes (25T–40T) plus the 55T Humma — the largest pick-and-carry in WA. Fast, flexible, ideal for tight sites.

Rigging & Dogging

Fully licenced riggers and doggers. Every Mobula Cranes rigger holds a current HRWL and has completed our internal VOC process. Complex and routine lifts.

Risk Assessment

Every job starts with a Take 5 personal risk assessment and team JHA. Pre-lift assessments completed before every crane operation. MOC documented for all variations.

Licences & VOCs

All Mobula Cranes operators, riggers and doggers hold current High Risk Work Licences and have completed VOCs for the equipment they operate. If you don't have the licence, you don't do the job.

Fitness for Work

Every crew member starts the shift fit for the job. Our Fitness for Work procedure covers fatigue management, injury management and a drug & alcohol program aligned with site requirements.

Digital Safety Platform

The Mobula Cranes App is our purpose-built digital safety platform — Take 5s, pre-lift assessments, equipment registers, inspections and safety documentation in one system, live from the field.

Incident Reporting

All incidents, near misses and hazards are reported, investigated and actioned. We don't hide from what goes wrong. We learn from it and communicate it to make operations safer.

Formerly known as F&G Cranes Pty Ltd, the rebrand in 2025 reflects a renewed commitment to professionalism, safety and growth. The name Mobula is a nod to the manta ray — an animal that moves with power and precision, navigating its environment with confidence.

Greg Attwood
Managing Director — Proud Kariyarra Man

Greg Attwood is a proud Kariyarra man, born and raised in Port Hedland. His journey in the crane industry began in 1995 following a mechanical fitter and turner apprenticeship with Mount Newman Mining Co. (now BHP), where he was shortlisted for Aboriginal Apprentice of the Year.

Over the next three decades, Greg built extensive experience across the Pilbara crane industry, progressing from Crane Operator to Heavy Lift Coordinator, Supervisor and ultimately business owner. In 2012, Greg established F&G Cranes and built the business from the ground up, drawing on decades of industry experience and his strong connection to the Pilbara.

In 2025, Greg rebranded F&G Cranes as Mobula Cranes, reflecting his vision for continued growth, safety and creating opportunities for the next generation of Indigenous workers. He remains hands-on — leading the team, supporting operations, operating cranes and mentoring the next generation.
